Being common essence, obviously it was a baby right appeared and she used to come here to the pub and there. Give us an escape from your normal everyday life. Finish school, meet up with your mates. Come the Bronte. Bronte brought people together to meet. Meet people. I wouldn't have met Bill, only I came to the Bronte. Favorite memories from the Bronte was every time you come he would always welcome, even when you were being naughty. There's always something and it was always creative discos. Meet new people, play going away on holidays. There's been a brunty of one sort or another for all of our lives. Silver on team means to me somewhere I'm just going like like hang out with your friends and play games. I I think if we never had this, the Bronte in this area, I think obviously others people, you know, I think we'd all be different. It's a place that have been coming to since I was a young boy and was also the place that gave me me first pay packet back in the days when it was literally a pay packet. It's amazing how many people that don't even live in this community say. That they've got memories of every star, the brunt with branches Escos, they loved it. So the Bronzy is you think community centre in literally in the city centre Liverpool and it is has been since mid 60s. I'd say the the heart of the community and before there was a Bronzy. Obviously we just take corners and. Laat je 70 snijbroek zit een bos en toen moeilijk zeg maar liefst, zo blijkt van nou zo. So by day we are there to offer support for community help. You know we have food banks dropping sessions for anyone that just wants to pop in and see us. A bit of advice for support and then by night we turn into our youth club where all our local young people and from outside the community to come from all over Liverpool come along for our evening sessions. We've just finished a project 3 kids have actually made to skate and her band. I mean you talk like a 89 year olds actually used the sewing machine. And the reason we're here tonight is because this lad called, so he's been with us since last year. It's called me lands us loads of tricks in football. Last year, the bronze seat was the actual Bills and was 50 years old. And it was really shown. I mean, we've, we've struggled the past couple of years with the leaking roof and just really dilapidating builds. And so we've, we were successful in getting some funds and to do some renovation works. It's going to give us the opportunity to be able to provide. Better services, both the community and the young people and just yeah, it's just nice to be able to impossible and money into the ball and get a new roof. We've been we've had a leaky roof probably about 20 years because the bounty is like been like this lot of said it's been like this for ages. I feel like since it's going to be renovated and sort of no, I feel like there's going to it's going to change a lot and I feel like it's going to give us more joyful stuff to do in the bronze. My, my kids call me, my grandkids are now coming here. So that's what excites me. Like their kids are going to be coming here in the future. And, and for me, that's everything. That's that's why I'm a part of this club. And This is why I give all me, me free time of what I can do for the club. And, and you know, that's why I'm here today. Really. That's what excites me about it. When I get a new lease of life, you know what's going to be game changing, not just for the kids, but for the community. I hope as well to bring it back tight together. Especially when you can put events on and stuff like that and people realise it can be open, you know, 24/7 and you know, it's, it's going to be energy efficient, you know, it's going to be welcoming and yeah, and it's going to be here for at least another 50 plus years.
