Tim D.’s Post

A few days in New York. Cameras in hand. And the kind of company that makes work feel effortless. I was recently in the city shooting new visuals for GUIDOMAGGI, but the trip became about much more than just the shot list. I am endlessly fascinated by founders, how they think, what drives them, and the lens through which they see the world. Spending time with Emanuele, the founder, gave the shoot a distinct sense of clarity. When someone cares this deeply about quality and detail, my job becomes easy: I just have to capture the truth of what they’ve built. And Kish is one of those rare humans who has three jobs, three kids, and still somehow manages to model on the "side-side-side", a hustle that lands him on billboards. Moving through the city with him, from the showroom to random cafés, felt less like a production and more like life. Sharing a glass of wine, late-night conversations, and the rhythm of the streets made the work energizing rather than draining. The goal wasn’t just to photograph luxury shoes. It was to capture the craftsmanship, character, and quiet confidence that this team brings to every single pair. There is something special about taking a product made by hand, something with real intention behind it, and translating that into images that feel honest and lived-in. Projects like this make me appreciate the mix of craft and personality that goes into building a brand people truly care about.

The best work happens when craft meets character, Tim D... Capturing a brand goes beyond the product it shows the people, their passion, and the life they pour into every detail.
