UK Enacts Property (Digital Assets) Act 2025

The UK has formally enacted the Property (Digital Assets etc) Act 2025, setting in statute that digital assets can attract personal property rights even though they do not fit into traditional legal categories. This confirms the existence of a third category of personal property designed to accommodate assets such as crypto-tokens, stablecoins, and other digitally native objects.
