Haven-1 docking adapter fit check at Vast headquarters. In October, we successfully completed the fit check for the fully-tested passive docking hardware for Haven-1, likely the first-ever flight model passive docking adapter manufactured for a commercial space station. Docking technology is one of the most complex aspects of developing a space station; this milestone marks another important step towards launch.

I like vast! Could it be made modular like legos and added on in orbit! Then when enough is added place a rocket system On it and move it to moon or mars orbit? And make modules that could could also be formed into a circle and rotated to produce gravity!

Looks just like every IDSS IDD passive compatible system. There are several flight passive docking systems built but not integrated. Hope you guys succeed to get to orbit and start getting assembled!

The precision and complexity behind docking systems can’t be overstated. Congrats to the team for achieving this major step.

Saw this mock up at nasa. Houston it’s sky lab!

Awesome progress! Moving so fast!

I love that we live in an era where companies just post updates like this. It's great to see. Go Vast go!
