Vote Solar recently hosted an inspiring panel discussion bringing together clean energy leaders from across the country — including several of our Board members — to reflect on the biggest trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping America’s clean energy future. At a time of both unprecedented momentum and mounting headwinds, the conversation underscored a powerful truth: our clean energy future will be built at the state and local level. Moderated by Vote Solar’s Executive Director Sachu Constantine, the conversation brought together Zaid Ahmad Ashai, Chairman & CEO of Nexamp; Mandela Barnes, former Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin and Senior Advisor at Power Forward; Utopia Hill, CEO of Reactivate; and Jon Carson, Founder and Managing Partner of Trajectory Energy Partners. Together, they explored how the clean energy transition is advancing across the country, what obstacles remain, and how state and local action can chart a path forward despite federal uncertainty.
