100 Kids. Fully Funded Swim Safety Scholarships. Powered by the YMCA. This summer, the YMCA of Dane County is providing 100 children from Reach Dane with full scholarships to participate in our Safety Around Water program, a life-saving initiative that teaches essential skills to stay safe in and around water. Each child will receive eight lessons designed to: Teach basic swimming and floating techniques Instill confidence and safety habits Help them know what to do if someone else is in trouble in the water Reach Dane, a trusted nonprofit partner serving children and families across Dane and Green Counties, helped connect these students to this opportunity. The YMCA of Dane County is covering the full cost of instruction, made possible through donor support and our commitment to ensuring all children have access to life-saving programs, regardless of their family’s income.
