A $6.8M Thank You

Today, I'm excited to announce that we’ve closed a $6.8M Series A.

6 years ago, I met a fellow undergrad at Boston College, named Tom Coburn. As we began speaking, we both realized we had finished business plan competitions not too long ago and were struck with the “entrepreneurial bug”. Shortly after, I teamed up with Tom and other students on campus to launch the very first iteration of Jebbit.

Fast-forward to today, it’s been quite the journey. We’ve gone through multiple evolutions, tough periods of little traction and employee turnover, but we’ve emerged as a stronger company.

Thank you to Michael Marcus, Duncan Walker, and Matthew Keemon - friends from Boston College and our first employees at Jebbit. You guys have stuck by our side through all the ups and downs and we’re lucky to still have you be part of our story.

To the Leadership Team we’ve built out along the way — Taylor Bellefeuille, Tristan Warneke, Taylor Donnell, Jackie Eagle, and Kaitlyn Kirkaldy — you have helped pushed Jebbit, as well as me personally, to always be better. Your experience, passions and relentless work ethic are an inspiration to me.

To my parents and younger brothers - sorry I’m not around much anymore. You continue to inspire me to be a better man, leader, friend and I love you all very deeply. Hopefully one day, this crazy entrepreneurial journey will make sense to all of us.

Despite us being 6 years into building Jebbit, we’re just getting started.

We have new, fantastic investors (Paul & Sinan) that bring a wealth of experience to young entrepreneurs. Most importantly, we have a dedicated team in Boston that will soon become three times as large!

Our mission with this $6.8M is clear — we see the consumer data space as completely backward. Companies spend millions of dollars buying inaccurate and irrelevant data when they could simply get it directly from their consumers with smarter mobile experiences. We see the opportunity to completely change an industry and we’re charging full-steam ahead to do it.
