Michelle Pan, Apex Director of Marketing for the Asia-Pacific, won the Closest to the Pin award at this year's annual Turkish Airlines World Gold Cup Qualifier in Shanghai. The Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup (TAWGC) launched in 2013 as an amateur golf tournament with twelve qualifying events. Today, it’s one of the world’s most iconic corporate amateur golf series, with over 118 tournaments spanning 67 countries and including more than 8,000 players.
The Closest to the Pin award is given to the golfer whose tee shot on a par-three hole lands closest to the designated hole—demanding skill, distance control, and precision. The award underscores Michelle’s tenacity and drive to succeed in life and business.
