Kunshan Kanglong Electronics primarily loads variable frequency drive (VFD) motors. VFDs are the most common source of harmonics in the system and generate significant harmonic distortion, primarily the 3rd, 5th, and 7th harmonics. This project uses iKonMac's Active Power Filter (900A) and capacitor compensation upgrade Static Var Generator (3500kvar). The equipment is now operating normally.

After the equipment was put into operation, the harmonic current distortion rate was reduced from 12.6% to 4.3%. The harmonic treatment effect is excellent, effectively managing the harmonic currents in the power distribution system, improving power quality, reducing line losses, and ensuring the stable operation of both the distribution system and production equipment. The significant results have also been recognized and affirmed by the client.
