The Great Digital Transformation Gold Rush!!!
One jargon word that is used way too much nowadays is "Digital Transformation". Just Google the term and check out the incredible resources, trends and links to companies that seem to offer this. This is a definite business trend that is creating disruption and innovation. I think we are witnessing the first phase of a significant change in the way business will be done. I believe its Business Transformation using Digital Technologies.
It's also a gold rush...
Staffing companies, Bay area startups Management Consultancies and everyone else use "Digital Transformation" in their pitch...When I see this, I think its a gold rush...
Some time back I was speaking to a company that deals with Blades and Servers. They sell hardware. That's what they do. During the 20 minute conversation that lasted about 8 slides they used Digital Transformation at least 4 times. :)
