1. HTB completes £18.2m refinance facility for Grade II listed offices 

  • £18.2m facility refinances and stabilises a newly refurbished Grade II listed office scheme. 
  • Second transaction with the same client, following earlier £13.3m retirement living refinance. 
  • Blends heritage and sustainability, attracting legal, financial and creative tenants.

2. HTB delivers £1.2m semi-commercial facility for overseas landlord  

  • We completed a £1.2m semi-commercial facility for an Australian landlord entering the UK market. 
  • The deal involved gifted equity, a semi-commercial property, and a bespoke structure tailored to the client’s needs. 
  • We’re seeing rising demand from brokers with overseas clients and complex cases, reinforcing our role as a long-term lending partner.

3. HTB announces the completion of an £8.28m facility in Manchester 

  • The transaction involved eight titles and a complex structure. Supporting the acquisition and preparatory works for a landmark development site. 
  • Delivered for Soller Nine Limited, the site has full planning consent for an 18-storey Grade A office building. 
  • Led by Harry Bhogal and supported by Joseph Gibson, it demonstrates the clarity, flexibility and collaboration that define HTB’s approach to development finance.

Black History Month 

We celebrated Black History Month by reflecting on the theme Standing Firm in Power and Pride and, most importantly, listening. We heard from Adesola and Trina on what it means to them.

Quiz night 

We hosted an internal quiz night, an evening of friendly competition, good food and team spirit. 

The quiz included questions inspired by Black History Month, covering music, sport, science and literature. It sparked some thoughtful conversations.  

To round off the evening we shared Afro-Caribbean dishes, a delicious way to honour the cultures behind the history we're celebrating.  

Huge thanks to Orla Ferrie , our resident quizmaster for hosting an incredible evening. Congratulations to the winning team, Edward Eames , Adesola Omowa , Sophie Barnard , April Flanagan and Daniel Lockley .
