Madness Of March Is Spice Of Life
March is usually my favourite month...!! and why not
And it’s my Birthday… My son is always amused, so why am I super excited about my birthday?
My logic is, if I am growing old, let’s get crazier ... doesn’t fit in the traditional world...!!
The trip started in Kolkata, the city of joy, where the GMA under-15 cricket team was fighting it out with the local cricket clubs. The passion for cricket in India is next level!!
Green rugged fields, occasional pebbles around the boundaries and some uneven bounce tested the merit of the boys and gave them a great exposure of the game in unknown conditions...!!!
To my surprise, the boys did very well. I was pleased with Aday as he got his first fifty in India, and I had another reason to celebrate while cutting my birthday cake...!!
Six days of Kolkata food, subtle moist breeze from the shores of Ganges, and some extraordinary friends around you, couldn’t have asked for more as I storm into my 47th Year..!
If that was not enough, our next destination took our breath away, somewhat literally.
The view of the majestic Kanchenjunga stands as a silent guardian over the land, captivating all who visit with its impressive splendour.
As we landed in Gangtok, my sensory organs were not in my control. The eyes wandered with the beauty I had around me..both people and nature, and then the nose took off with the street food all around me..!!
Some people search for the meaning of life, but I’ve already found mine—steaming hot momos with dipping sauce on the mountains, looking at the grandeur of Kanchenjunga with my little lama friend spreading smiles..!!
These places are good for the soul, not for weight 😊
… As business looks upwards with great support from the team, Advay is starting his grade 8 today, and Kanika and I are back in the grind...!! We always have something to look back and smile..!!
