Celebrating STEM Day
In honor of STEM Day on November 8, we spotlighted Aya, an alumna of Global Ties KC’s Global Robotics Exchange from Morocco. Aya’s FIRST Robotics team was the first and only to represent Morocco at the international 2024 FIRST Tech Challenge Championship in Houston, Texas. Fall 2024 Virtual Exchange Academy Graduates
Please join us in congratulating the fall 2024 Virtual Exchange Academy graduates! These 55 education and exchange leaders and practitioners represent 14 countries, 16 U.S. states, and Washington, DC. Because of their participation in the Academy, they are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools to create more opportunities for young people that empower them to lead a more peaceful and prosperous world.

Before You Go…Upcoming Virtual Exchange Opportunities
K-12 Spanish-speaking classes are invited to join iEARN-USA’s spring 2025 Compañeros de Clase Globales. Through dynamic exchanges grounded in global competences and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Spanish-speaking students and educators from the U.S., Guatemala, and Mexico explore real-world challenges and discover ways to make a difference. Learn more and apply by November 15, 2024!
High school students from the U.S., MENA, and Latin America can now apply for World Learning’s The Experiment Digital summer programs! Explore the different tracks — Leadership in STEM and Climate Change and the Environment — and apply by the February 21, 2025 priority deadline. Upon successful completion of this FREE program, participants receive a Certificate and a $400 scholarship toward participation in one of The Experiment in International Living’s summer 2026 programs around the world.
