ACCIONA ENERGÍA AWARDED AUCTION FOR 281 MW OF RENEWABLE ENERGY IN THE PHILIPPINES
ACCIONA Energía has won a 20-year electricity supply contract in the Philippines for all the production from two renewables projects: Kalayaan 2 wind farm (101 MW), currently under construction, and the solar facility Daanbantayan (180 MWp), on which building work will start before the end of this year.
On top of these projects, ACCIONA Energía has a portfolio of over 2 GW under development in the Asian country. Our foundation, acciona.org, has also been working with rural communities in the Philippines since 2021.

ACCIONA ENERGÍA TO INSTALL A 1 GWH BATTERY IN THE ATACAMA DESERT
Chile will be able to count upon one of the biggest battery storage projects in Latin America. And it ‘s ACCIONA Energía who will build the 1 GWh battery at its Malgarida photovoltaic complex in the Atacama desert.
The project will guarantee that clean energy generated from the facility during one day can also be used at night, thus reducing dependence on fossil fuels and associated CO₂ emissions.

ACCIONA COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISSIONING OF SHUQAIQ 4 DESALINATION PLANT IN SAUDI ARABIA
With a productive capacity of 400,000 cubic meters of water per day, the new Shuqaiq 4 desalination plant is already operating. The facility will significantly improve water supply in the region, providing a new source of potable water to over 3.5 million people.

TAMPA BAY DESALINATION PLANT REACHES RECORD OUTPUT WITH ACCIONA MODERNIZATION
More news on improved access to drinking water, as the modernization works carried out by the Company at its Florida desal plant reach fruition. The plant at Tampa Bay has achieved its highest production levels in over a decade.
Improvements included the disassembly of 8 reverse osmosis racks and reconstruction of 5 of them using stainless steel, lengthening the useful life of the plant by over 25 years.

DIGICONCRETE is a new digital platform we’ve developed as part of our commitment to controlling the quality and maturing of concrete in our works.
