One week ago Association of Nordic Engineers ANE published a report, with the title Reclaiming Europe's Competitive edge through STEM talent.

It is in a context where new technologies are emerging that are so crucial to solving some of our key challenges, but also beg forward-looking thinking and that critical questions are asked, where scale and winners take it all business models prevail. STEM skills are an essential lever of innovation looking ahead, and in that respect, innovation policies are also skills policies.
