The company employs a proprietary thermochemical process to convert agricultural residues, specifically cashew waste, into valuable, sustainable products. The resulting renewable biofuel is directed towards hard-to-abate sectors like shipping and heavy industry. Concurrently, the co-produced biochar enhances soil fertility, aids in drought resistance, and generates high-quality carbon credits. This innovative, circular model has successfully processed over 7,000 tonnes of biomass, creating local jobs for 125 workers and positioning Udupi as a hub for global carbon removal technology.
