Reflecting on Growth & Gratitude

Last month, our team gathered at Rough Creek Lodge in Glen Rose, Texas, for a company retreat. From salsa-making competitions to bowling and team-building challenges, we shared more than just good food and fun—we strengthened the relationships that power our work.

This time of year reminds us how thankful we are for the people who make Tailwater what it is: our team, investors, portfolio partners, and broader community.

Permian Gas Wave Sparks Biggest Pipeline Buildout Since the Shale Boom

As reported by OilPrice.com, U.S. natural gas pipeline capacity is set for its largest expansion since 2008, driven by rising demand from LNG exports, utilities, manufacturing, and data centers.

The Permian Basin sits at the heart of this buildout. A surge in associated gas production, combined with constrained takeaway capacity, is triggering over $50 billion in investment to alleviate bottlenecks and meet growing demand.

This shift underscores a structural pivot from a supply-push model to a demand-pull dynamic—one that reinforces the long-term viability of natural gas and its infrastructure as a cornerstone of domestic energy security.

For investors, this realignment offers a compelling backdrop. With fundamentals strengthening and capital availability still constrained, we believe the opportunity set in midstream energy infrastructure has rarely looked better.

At Tailwater, we remain committed to building and backing assets that sit at the intersection of operational necessity and durable cash flow. #TailwaterInsights
