Permian Gas Wave Sparks Biggest Pipeline Buildout Since the Shale Boom
As reported by OilPrice.com, U.S. natural gas pipeline capacity is set for its largest expansion since 2008, driven by rising demand from LNG exports, utilities, manufacturing, and data centers.
The Permian Basin sits at the heart of this buildout. A surge in associated gas production, combined with constrained takeaway capacity, is triggering over $50 billion in investment to alleviate bottlenecks and meet growing demand.
