Wellbeing at Work - How to assess where we stand and how to make systematic progress
In our ever-changing business landscape, the importance of workplace mental health has been catapulted into the forefront of organizational strategy. The rise in remote work, coupled with an increased awareness of the importance of employee wellbeing, has shown us the need for a collaborative approach to this vital issue.
At Manah Wellness, while working with over 70 progressive organisations, we have been asked this question repeatedly - How do we know where we stand on employee emotional wellbeing and how can we make progress by implementing the best practices in the industry?
INTRODUCING WORKPLACE WELLBEING MATURITY MATRIX
Our own understanding and experience working with some of the leading organisations across India and the World, helped us create an Workplace Wellbeing Maturity Matrix, a four-level framework designed to systematically evaluate emotional wellbeing practices within organizations. We are now delighted to share this framework with you, to help you benchmark and adopt this for your own organisation. By adopting this Workplace Wellbeing Maturity Matrix, organizations can run their employee mental wellbeing program with a long view of time, in a more outcome-centric manner and empower employees and the leadership in realizing the long-term impact on performance.
As we validated the effectiveness of (shared) this framework with some of our key partners, we also heard the need for organisations to share and learn from each other.
What challenges and opportunities do other organisations see while implementing best practices in employee emotional wellbeing?
What are the tangible metrics to track, and so on.
We recently hosted a roundtable on this topic in Mumbai and are hosting more in Noida, Pune and other cities this year. All these show the need and relevance of a coming together of various industry players to build on our collective learnings.
The systematic approach and thoughtful insights presented can lead to a healthier work environment, increased productivity, and employee happiness, benefiting individuals and the organization.
Quite detailed Ashwin! have stored the matrix, would come back to it !
