How to build trust with lo-fi content

Explore top LinkedIn content from expert professionals.

Summary

Building trust with lo-fi content means sharing authentic, unpolished moments that reveal your real professional experiences, rather than presenting a perfectly curated image. Lo-fi content refers to simple, candid media—like casual videos or raw photos—that feels more relatable and truthful, helping audiences connect with you or your brand on a personal level.

  • Share real stories: Use everyday experiences and honest reflections to let people see your journey, struggles, and growth instead of just your accomplishments.
  • Show behind-the-scenes: Give your audience a peek at your team’s culture, problem-solving moments, or even quick thoughts recorded on your phone to highlight genuine company life.
  • Be consistently authentic: Post regularly in a way that feels true to your beliefs and personality, helping others understand what you stand for and recognize your voice over time.

Want More Engagement on LinkedIn? Stop Polishing. Start Relating. Let’s be honest: The overly polished, always-winning, perfectly filtered version of you? 👀 It might impress people… But it doesn’t connect with them. In today’s content landscape, one thing beats “success signaling” every time: ➡️ Relatability. Here’s why “being relatable” wins: 1. People buy from people they trust. -> Trust isn’t built by showcasing your highlight reel. -> It’s built when someone sees themselves in your story. 2. Perfection creates distance. -> When you only show wins, people assume you’re “too far ahead” or “not like them.” -> Vulnerability closes that gap. 3. Relatable content gets shared. -> When your audience says, “This is exactly how I feel” they share, comment, engage. -> That’s how you grow. 🔁 Try this shift in your next post: ❌ Instead of: “I scaled my business to 6-figures in 6 months.” ✅ Try: “6 months ago, I was stuck overthinking every post. I stopped trying to be impressive and started being real. That changed everything.” See the difference? Same story, different tone. One brags. The other connects. The New Rule of Content: Your struggles, fears, doubts, and lessons >>> your trophies. Because people don’t want perfect. They want to feel seen. If your content feels stiff or disconnected lately, here’s your cue: Stop trying to “look successful.” Start telling the truth. Because authenticity scales trust. And trust builds business. PS: The most magnetic creators aren’t the ones who have it all figured out. They’re the ones who aren’t afraid to show their journey in real time. #AuthenticBranding #RelatableContent #ContentMarketing #LinkedInGrowth #PersonalBranding

Likes don’t matter. Conversations do. I've tested multiple content types across my daily posts. Here's what's working. Start with personal stories: ↳ When I share my transition from semiconductor engineering to CEO, it connects with other technical founders who once thought marketing is "the dark side." Share real business results: ↳ Show how your team solved specific customer problems ↳ Highlight employees who delivered exceptional outcomes ↳ Share real examples of market changes affecting clients My highest-performing content? Step-by-step problem-solving posts. I recently wrote a detailed guide for CEOs about content marketing. It hit #1 on Google - and stayed there. Behind-the-scenes content builds trust: ↳ Raw video clips of team meetings ↳ Quick thoughts on industry news ↳ Candid moments of workplace culture ↳ Photos from conferences or client meetings Don't worry about perfection. I pull out my phone and record quick thoughts in portrait mode. The more authentic, the better the engagement. Company updates should focus on human elements: ↳ Creative problem-solving approaches ↳ How your team grows professionally ↳ Actual customer success stories ↳ Real innovation processes Stop writing generic posts. Use AI to amplify your story, not make one up for you. Start sharing specific moments that showcase your team's real achievements. P.S. What authentic story could you share about your company (or yourself) today? ♻️ Found this useful? Please repost. ➡️ Follow for daily tips to build your influence.

The biggest value for your brand today? Authenticity. 👇 Customers and potential employees connect with brands that show who they really are, beyond the corporate polish. Gone are the days when perfectly curated content ruled the game. We want to see your true professional life behind the scenes, not just a scripted “day in the life.” Hint: NO DECISION MAKERS WANT TO WATCH A DAY IN YOUR LIFE ON LINKEDIN Want to build trust? Start with your internal influencers/subject matter experts/key opinion leaders. These people know your company inside out and are already passionate about your mission. By allowing them to share their real experiences and authentic insights, you tap into an incredible asset—your own people. Whether it’s • product demonstrations • team culture insights • or behind-the-scenes looks    Your internal team can create powerful content that resonates deeply with your audience! Once you’ve established that solid foundation with your internal voices, bring in external influencers to expand your reach. External influencers can amplify your brand’s message, but be careful. External influencers should complement the authenticity already set by your internal team. Let both internal and external influencers share their real stories and experiences in a genuine way. Forget overproduced videos and perfectly polished messaging. Record something raw—on a walk, riding a bike, or simply using the tools that make your brand unique. It’s all about how you use the tools, not about some perfect corporate style. The reality is, LinkedIn users connect more with content that shows real professional lives. Influencers can do this powerfully. Whether internal or external, let them take the lead by sharing their authentic experiences. When they’re capturing real-life moments—riding a bike, walking down the street, or even sharing their screen in real-time—it engages the audience more deeply. Add dynamic elements like screen sharing or green screens to analyze results (media style), showcase campaigns, or break down product features in ways that make your audience feel like insiders. Trust is built by being human. Companies that try to paint an unrealistic picture of "sunshine and flowers" are missing the mark. We all know that life isn’t perfect—and that’s okay. If your messaging doesn’t resonate with reality, your brand loses credibility. You risk attracting customers and employees who don’t align with your brand’s mission or culture. That’s why showing an authentic, unpolished side is so critical—it not only builds trust but also helps attract the right people. Build trust by simply being human, and watch how it transforms your relationships with customers and employees alike. ____ I'm Nemanja, I help mid-size high ACV & long sales cycles B2B companies win by facilitating sales and showing their unique advantage. In other words, hands-on marketing that brings tangible results (with a bit of funk). Remember 4Ps?

Trust builds businesses. Lack of it? Kills them quietly. I’ve seen it firsthand in the businesses I coach: You don’t need to shout louder. You need to build deeper trust. Because trust is what transforms: → Visibility into credibility → Content into clients → Buzz into business that lasts And it’s built on what I call the 4 Cs: 1/ Competence → Share insight that moves people, not just fills space. → Give them the how, not just pretty frameworks. → It’s not about being impressive. It’s about being impactful. → Let them feel your expertise before they ever buy. Your clients don’t want more information. They want someone who helps them act. 2/ Conviction → Say what you actually believe. → It’s not about being louder. It’s about being clearer. → People don’t trust experts who play it safe. → Speak to what matters, not just what’s trending. The more grounded I am in what I stand for, the more naturally the right people show up. 3/ Credibility → Story over spotlight. → Teach through what you’ve lived, not just learned. → Share the scars and the solutions. → Position yourself as the guide, not the hero. Your story isn’t baggage. It’s your best trust-building asset, when you own it. 4/ Consistency → Show up even when it’s quiet. → Let your presence build predictability. → Brands are built in patterns, not one-off posts. → Create a rhythm that makes people say: “I knew you’d say that and I trust it.” It’s not about going viral. It’s about becoming recognisable. Reliable. Respected. Because trust isn’t built by chance. It’s built by design and by choice. PS: What’s your focus this quarter? -More reach -Or more resonance? I’d love to hear where you’re at. ♻️Repost to help others build trust

A lot of people can make noise online. Few can earn trust. I’ve seen loud creators get attention fast… and lose it just as quickly. And I’ve seen quiet professionals — the ones who lead with value — stay relevant for years. Noise is easy. Trust takes time. Here’s how to build it quietly: → Share things you’ve learned from hard situations → Answer real questions your clients ask you → Say “I don’t know” when it’s honest — don’t fake it, dodge it, or give a half-baked response You don’t need to impress people. You just need to help them. 📌 Is your content built for trust, or for attention? —— 📁 Save this if you’re done chasing empty likes. ♻️ Share with someone who shows up with substance. ➕ Follow me, Damjan Blagojevic, for quiet trust building strategies that actually work.

  • You don’t build trust in 2 posts, You build it in 200 quiet ones. ~ Vivek Chandanshiv Most of you won’t get to 200: You quit at 20, as no one clapped. Or pivot at 50 because the algorithm didn’t reward you. The harsh truth that most don’t want to hear: - Trust isn’t earned through virality, - Positioning isn’t built through a one-off post, - And perception doesn’t change because you showed up twice. It’s the 200 posts that… - Say the same thing 100 different ways - Educate on the boring stuff - Reassure when no one’s buying -  Reinforce values when no one’s listening - Stay on message even when the numbers dip Those are the posts that do the real work. The invisible work, The work that compounds. Your brand’s positioning is shaped more by the quiet repetition of your message than any single mic-drop post. So if you’re playing the long game, stop chasing applause. Start building memory, Start reinforcing meaning, Start earning trust, one quiet, clear post at a time. This post was inspired by a comment left under my post. (Commens are a goldmine for content ideas.) Share your thoughts in the comments

Tired of crickets on your content? Try these soulful strategies that actually build trust (and connection). You’re showing up. You’re posting consistently. But the likes, comments, and DMs? Still missing. Here’s the truth: People don’t engage with just content. They engage with what feels real. Here are 5 soulful shifts that change the game: 1. Speak like you’re having a convo with one person - The more specific and personal your tone, the more it lands. 2. Share from experience, not just expertise - Let people see the real you—your struggles, lessons, and lightbulb moments. 3. Be clear on what you want them to feel - Stop writing to fill space. Start writing to connect. 4. Offer value they can actually use - Quick tips, real insights, mindset shifts—something that helps them today. 5. Show up for the right reasons Not to go viral, not to impress… but to serve, support, and stay true to your mission. When you lead with heart, the right people lean in. You don’t need to be louder—you just need to be more you. Which one are you going to focus on this week? #linkedin #contentstrategy #socialmediamanager

Stop overcomplicating content creation as a business owner. You don’t need more time, you need a new mindset. Content isn’t about creating something perfect out of thin air. It’s about documenting what you’re already doing. A strong content strategy is not built by: ↳ Overthinking what to post every day. ↳ Telling yourself you have no time. ↳ Waiting for the ‘perfect moment’ to share something big. It’s built on consistency and documentation. An authentic brand grows when you: ↳ Take people with you, instead of just showing them where you are. ↳ Share the behind-the-scenes moments no one sees. ↳ Turn everyday conversations, client meetings, wins, doubts, and realizations into valuable insights for your audience. Your next content idea is happening in your life right now. It’s in: ↳ That meeting you just had. ↳ The training you led. ↳ The client question that surprised you. ↳ The thought that made you question an outdated belief in your industry. Content creation is not about you. It’s about them. Focus on: ↳ What would help your dream client today? ↳ What would lift them up, shift their perspective, or make them feel seen? ↳ What lesson did you live today that could serve them tomorrow? It’s not “look at me”, it’s “come with me.” Show the journey, the process, the realness. That’s what builds trust. That’s what makes people stick around. ♻️ Repost to help other business owners stop overthinking content. Attention business owners: The game is changing. Forget polished perfection. The new secret weapon? Raw, authentic videos that build trust like nothing else. You've just created valuable content. Ready to level up? Try these pro tips: • Hook them in the first frame • Cut the fluff, deliver fast • Use attention-grabbing titles • Change scenes frequently (easier than complex edits) • Be ruthless with cuts The real secret? Action beats motivation. Start filming before you feel "ready." Your audience craves authenticity. Give it to them, and watch your influence soar. What's holding you back from pressing record?
