One of the toughest challenges (and biggest areas of opportunity) for DTC brands is nailing their video ad creative in a repeatable and scaleable manner. It's laborious and expensive, and often involves subjective human decision-making. But what if there was a better way? In my opinion, #GenAI will revolutionize video marketing. Imagine video ads that are automatically generated, analyzed, optimized, and eventually deprecated based on performance. No more guesswork or subjective decision-making. Here's what to look forward to: - Efficiency: Automated editing and rendering means faster concept-to-launch times. - Personalization: Video ads tailored to individual viewer preferences, dynamically generated in real-time. - Innovation: From automatically generated backgrounds to lifelike digital characters, generative AI is expanding the bounds of what's possible in storytelling. - Iterations: All creative iterations purely founded by data, with automatic scale vs. pause rules on ads to determine losers before rotating in new automative creative. I predict that over 30% of all video creative in the market will be powered by Generative AI within the next two years.

Are you ready for the new, new shift in digital media creation? How would you react if I told you that the boundaries between imagination and reality are blurring more each day, as in just earlier today? In just a short period, we'll see unprecedented changes, primarily due to the introduction of Sora, an AI model capable of creating videos from text instructions. The traditional approach to video production focuses on: - Scriptwriting and storyboarding - Filming with actors and settings - Post-production and editing Sora-driven strategies will revolutionize this by: - Emphasizing speed and efficiency over lengthy production schedules - Prioritizing creative freedom, expanding beyond the constraints of physical filming locations - Facilitating personalized content creation to align closely with individual storytelling needs This isn't just about speed; it's about unlocking new possibilities for storytellers, educators, and content creators. Stay tuned for more insights on how to navigate this shift (follow + hit the bell to not miss out!) Witnessing the emergence of technology like Sora excites (and also scares) me beyond words. It represents a leap forward in how we conceive and create visual content. Sora's ability to generate complex scenes with vibrant emotions and specific motions opens up a realm of possibilities for creative professionals and beyond. However, it's not without its challenges, such as simulating physics accurately and understanding detailed cause-and-effect scenarios. Safety and ethical considerations are paramount, with steps being taken to mitigate risks associated with misinformation, bias, and harmful content. As we begin this journey with Sora, the potential for innovation in our storytelling and content creation is immense! Engaging with policymakers, educators, and artists worldwide will be key in harnessing this technology for positive use cases while addressing concerns and preventing misuse. The future of digital media creation is here, and it's time to start exploring its vast potential. #storytelling #narrative #brandbuilding #videoproduction #filmproduction #aibusiness

AI just crossed another line. Runway now lets you edit real video object-by-object, shot-by-shot. 🧠 Introducing: Runway Aleph A state-of-the-art in-context video model that edits real footage using simple instructions. This isn’t just video generation. It’s high-quality, frame-accurate video transformation. ──────────── 🎯 What it can do (yes, all of this): ✦ Generate new camera angles from a single shot ✦ Add or remove any object or element ✦ Transform style, weather, lighting, and location ✦ Change seasons, time of day, or full environment ✦ Modify character age or appearance ✦ Apply the motion of one video to another image ✦ Relight scenes with realistic shadows and color ✦ Green screen people or objects with pixel-perfect isolation ──────────── 💭 My take? This genuinely blew my mind. Not just because of what it does but what it means. We're entering an era where: ✅ Video editing gets centralized ✅ AI becomes the post team ✅ The power isn't just in creating videos → It’s in editing what already exists—with precision And that… is a big shift. ──────────── 📩 Want to go deeper into AI like this? Video AI is coming. 2 things to know ⬇️   Last week OpenAI announced a text-to-video AI model called Sora.   If you follow AI on LinkedIn, you've probably seen people share videos created with Sora and they look GREAT.   So now that we've had some time to digest the news, I wanted talk about 2 things - 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 and 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗. ----- ⚠ 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 - 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱   Text-to-video isn't new (Pika Labs & Runway come to mind immediately). So why isn't it more of a thing?   Well, as it turns out, generating AI video is really hard because maintaining coherency and consistency between frames is a huge problem. The way these existing video AI models have gotten around this from a marketing perspective is showcasing very short "scenes" with liberal number of cuts. Cute, but the problem still exists!   With Sora, OpenAI claim to solve this problem with an innovative technique called patches, which leads to a full minute of HD video output. Sounds great but given that video AI is incredibly challenging to get right combined with Sora not being generally available means we have to be 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗨𝗦. 🎞 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 - 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲   Sora's default text-to-video demo reels have been the star of the show, and rightly so. However, deep in OpenAI's technical report is something interesting - video-to-video editing. Not only can you create videos from text prompts, but you can edit videos with text prompts! This technique enables Sora to transform the styles and environments of input videos zero-shot (see video below).   Traditionally, editing is a labor-intensive process. AI technologies like Sora could have a huge impact to post-production by eradicating 80% of that. This opens up opportunities for content repurposing, allowing for adaptation to different audiences or updates without extensive reshoots, democratizing video production for a broader range of creators and encouraging innovation in digital content.   I don't really see people talking about this. From a value perspective this seem to be 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗. Do you agree with this assessment?   -----   🔔Follow for more AI content that spans best practices to business value. #videoai #sora #openai #videoediting
