🍷 Debate Club Recap: “Wine Contributes to Society Like No Other Beverage” 🍇✨
This debate had everything, heart, humour and a healthy dose of rivalry. Some arguments tugged at our heartstrings ❤️ while others came armed with data, graphs and cultural insights 📊.
The Affirmative Team poured their case full of connection, history and human stories reminding us that wine has been woven into culture, community and celebration for centuries. Meanwhile, the Opposing Team balanced the conversation with sharp statistics, Asian cultural perspectives and persuasive visuals that made everyone think twice.
And in true Debate Club style, there was even a little LinkedIn stalking 👀 research is research, after all!
In the end, there could only be one winner. Sofia Geraghty delivered the verdict in favour of the Opposing Team, and the audience vote aligned 🏆👏

The votes flipped multiple times throughout the evening, at least for the audience, but ultimately the stats, humour and showmanship tipped the scales.
This event was also a special one as we celebrated the launch of our partnership with Mercer Wines, and it certainly didn’t disappoint 🍷✨
