    Over 8 rides, I have ridden more than 4000 kms across Thailand for Charity. Why do I it?

    I had the privilege of visiting a Hands Across The Water Orphanage in Thailand in February 2012. It was such an humbling experience to spend a couple of days at the orphanage with the children. They are so well looked after and extremely happy children, thanks to the dedication of the team and Hands Across The Water.

    Over 8 rides, I have ridden more than 4000 kms across Thailand for Charity. Why do I it?

    I had the privilege of visiting a Hands Across The Water Orphanage in Thailand in February 2012. It was such an humbling experience to spend a couple of days at the orphanage with the children. They are so well looked after and extremely happy children, thanks to the dedication of the team and Hands Across The Water.

    To see firsthand the work that Hands Across The Water is doing and to know that 100% of every cent raised goes to the kids and their communities was so inspirational. It was at that point that I decided that the Hands Across The Water would become the charity that we supported.

    As a business we support the charity on a monthly basis. However on a personal level, I felt that there was still more to give and I committed to riding 500km over five days across Thailand in February 2014. It was personally challenging but at the same time so rewarding. So I did it again in 2015. In 2016 after breaking my neck, under medical advice, I didnt ride but was part of the support crew. I rode again in 2017 and 2018 and in 2019 with my 16 year old son and in 2024 & 2025 with my 18 year old daughter.

    I am proud to part of the "Business Blueprint" rides which have raised more than 2 million dollars for Hands Across The Water.
