About the Role:

Toshiba is a global leader in technology and innovation, delivering solutions that empower businesses to operate smarter and more efficiently. At Toshiba Australia, we are expanding our Barcode Solutions division to meet growing demand across retail, logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing.


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Barcode Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in our barcode solutions portfolio. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a passion for building long-term client relationships.


Responsibilities include:

  • Drive business growth for Toshiba’s barcode solutions across Australia.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in target industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.


Other requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (Barcode, printing, or related technology solutions preferred).
  • Strong understanding of barcode technologies, supply chain, and retail/logistics workflows.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for driving results.


Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in the Barcode / Auto ID industry.
  • Candidates with Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa will be considered.
