As many of you already know, the 5th International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics, Global Educators Meeting (GEM) is coming March 23–25, 2026 at the Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Mahidol University, Bangkok. When we first launched GEM in 2014 in Kobe, Japan, our vision was simple: create a space where P&O educators could share knowledge, build partnerships, and strengthen training programs worldwide. Today, GEM has grown into a truly global forum - connecting institutions, aligning educational practices, and shaping the future of P&O education. Our theme for this coming GEM is “From Local Roots to Global Reach: Building Educational Bridges”, which speaks to the evolving mission of GEM and the importance of collaboration across borders.
