Amid the festivities, Marsha Walden, President and CEO of Destination Canada, and Caroline Séguin, Senior Vice-President of Industry Advancement, joined Hon. Rechie Valdez, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Secretary of State (Small Business and Tourism), at a reception hosted by the Hotel Association of Canada. Also in attendance were Hon. Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport); MP Tony Baldinelli; MP Blake Richards; Hon. Andrew Boitchenko, Alberta’s Minister of Tourism and Sport; and Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek.
