🌱 A huge thank you to our two fantastic speakers, Elizabeth A. Teracino, PhD and Julian Osborne, for an insightful seminar yesterday on "The Data Perspective on Sustainability." From Liz, who works with the Competence Center Corporate Data Quality (CC CDQ), we learned that: 1️⃣ Sustainability reporting means managing large volumes of data - often newly collected or repurposed. 2️⃣ Ensuring the reliability of sustainability data remains a key challenge. 3️⃣ There are creative ways to collect data that lies outside the boundaries of the company. 4️⃣ Building strong data management practices and information architecture - ranging from certificates to eco-design - is essential.
