This week, a new WindShaper left our facilities with the support of Friderici Spécial SA, our long-standing logistics partner. Friderici Spécial SA has been supporting WindShape for several years across all types of transport in Switzerland, Europe and worldwide. Recent operations include a 14-meter long, 3.6-meter high machine and a lowbed convoy to Northern Europe. They handle the entire process, from loading and unloading to final positioning at client sites, ensuring safe and efficient installations throughout each project. This October, we’re celebrating the 8th anniversary of our very first WindShaper 🎂 Built for Caltech, and as you can see, it wasn’t exactly a small one — a 12x12-module system : - 3m x 3m test section with 1'296 wind pixels - Equipped with a tilting mechanism to change the angle of incidence from 0° to 90° Time really flies!

Two weeks ago, we officially opened the WindShape Testing Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We’d like to take a moment to thank those who made this milestone possible: Osage Nation and Osage, LLC, for their support and care during the building renovation. Tulsa Innovation Labs and the GKFF entities, for years of support and for mapping the way to build a drone ecosystem in Tulsa. TEDC and Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST), for their support in helping to finance this facility. Oklahoma Department of Commerce, for their help and support. Our dedicated WindShape team — both in the U.S. and in Switzerland — for turning a 10-year-old dream into a reality. In 2015, we invented the WindShaper to enable controlled, repeatable testing for drones, something the industry needed. Today, with this new center in Tulsa, we are not just testing technology; we are building the protocols and methods that will enable the entire drone industry to grow. And we’re excited to share that the first customer test session has already started this week, just days after the ribbon was cut.
