Bringing offshore expertise onshore and taking on a truly unique challenge! 💪 We’re excited to share that we’ve entered into a full-service partnership with Stadtwerke Bochum Gruppe to maintain four Adwen/AREVA M5000 prototype turbines at the Bremerhaven test site. These units were originally developed for offshore use but were installed onshore for testing purposes. Their various technical modifications and component variants make each of the four turbines unique. Starting January 2026, we will take over full maintenance, spare parts management, and long-term support for this special technology. Our offshore team is stepping onshore for the first time to apply their expertise where it’s needed most - ensuring reliability, availability, and value for these unique assets. 👉 Want to learn more? Powering the future by caring for the past! Eneco and we are joining forces to maintain one of the Netherlands’ pioneering offshore wind farms: Prinses Amalia Wind Park. 🌊   From 2026, we’ll take on service maintenance of the 120 MW wind farm, with close collaboration at the core: Eneco and us will jointly define maintenance priorities and manage operations from shared facilities in IJmuiden, optimising staff, vessels, and assets to boost turbine availability and energy output. A partnership built on trust, transparency, and shared ambition – keeping clean energy flowing for years to come. 🤝

DWT Taiwan and OutSmart achieve major milestone in Taiwan’s offshore wind industry 🌊 We’re proud to announce that DWT Taiwan and OutSmart have signed a five-year contract to provide continuous monitoring, fault management, and grid operation oversight for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project - one of the largest offshore wind farms in Taiwan and the world. The Hai Long Project, comprising Hai Long 2 and 3, will feature 73 Siemens Gamesa 14-222 turbines with a total installed capacity of over 1 GW. With this contract, DWT becomes the largest independent service provider in Taiwan, reinforcing the country’s leadership role in offshore wind development across Asia. 📍 Key highlights: ✅ Continuous 24/7 monitoring and operational support for turbines and substations ✅ System capacity monitored by OutSmart’s Control Center in Emden, Germany now totals nearly 5 GW ✅ Collaboration with Hai Long’s developers — Mitsui & Co., Northland Power, and Gentari — to ensure operations meet the highest international standards ✅ Ongoing expansion of DWT’s local control center and field service capabilities in Taiwan This partnership not only strengthens DWT’s footprint in East Asia but also showcases how global offshore wind expertise and digital monitoring excellence can drive sustainable growth and reliable energy production worldwide.
