🚀 Project Success – Yancoal Ashton AFC/BSL Re-hand Project Delivered This week, the HBT Waratah team successfully delivered the Ashton AFC/BSL Re-hand Project. The coal clearance system was overhauled and upgraded to meet the next longwall panel requirements, with build and integration completed between our Argenton and Beresfield facilities in NSW. Another project well done by the team here at HBT. An extraordinary effort from everyone involved to bring this one across the line. HBT was tasked with overhauling the aging Austar Pump Station. After a thorough evaluation, all parties agreed that a full redesign and replacement of all major components was required. We took on the challenge, delivering a bespoke solution inspired by the Ashton Pump Station, bringing a new level of filtration and reliability to the longwall system. Over the past 9 months, this project has presented a wide range of challenges, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity and the learning experiences it brought with it. HBT Australia Completes Major Overhaul Project for Yancoal's Ashton Coal Operations 🎉 ⛏️ We are excited to share a major project success: The successful delivery of 68 refurbished roof supports for our client, Ashton Coal Operations Limited. The HBT Australia Service NSW delivery team completed this significant milestone on time ⏱️ without any safety incidents ✅. The first phase involved the "Safety & Compliance" overhaul of 47 roof supports from our Beresfield facility. Our team's efficiency resulted in an early delivery, completing the project one week ahead of schedule 📅. Following this, 21 roof supports underwent a comprehensive "Lifecycle Overhaul" at our Argenton facility, which included detailed inspections 🔍, structural repairs 🛠️ and component replacements. One roof support will now be sent to our HBT headquarters in Luenen, Germany 🇩🇪 for further testing and analysis 📊, helping us better understand the lifespan of the supports and improve future repair and replacement strategies. 👏 A huge thank you to all the teams involved for their hard work 💪 and dedication, and to the Ashton Coal team for their great collaboration. This achievement would not have been possible without everyone's commitment.
