🔓 Unlocking Smart Storage for Tomorrow’s Mobility With our new frunk demonstrator, we demonstrate how storage space in electric vehicles can be reimagined. The space gained by eliminating the combustion engine offers opportunities for intelligent, flexible, and user-oriented solutions. The demonstrator combines essential requirements: - Generous storage space with lighting and high-quality surfaces - Integrated connections, charge cable management, and optional cooling compartments - A modular concept: made from two half-shells that can be combined to particularly large frunks or highly variable frunks This provides maximum flexibility for vehicle manufacturers, from entry-level to premium vehicles, while also offering greater comfort and functionality in everyday use. Swipe through the slides and discover the highlights of our frunk demonstrator. For further information please contact Christian A. or Matthias Schütte.

As a manufacturer of high performance plastic products for the automotive industry, we attach particular importance to low weight and flexible processing options. We are active worldwide in the areas of Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Structural Lightweight and Battery Solutions - with around 6,000 colleagues at over 40 locations in 17 countries in Europe, Asia and North and South America. We realize our vision "We Drive Sustainable Mobility" through the use of sustainable bioplastics, recyclates and battery solutions. In the aerodynamics product area, our products ensure less driving resistance. This reduces CO2 emissions and energy consumption. Electric vehicles benefit from a greater range and combustion engines require less fuel. We are constantly expanding our expertise in plastics processing, product design, function integration and simulation to provide better solutions in the field of propulsion. We want to increase efficiency and reduce emissions. We use structural lightweight to make vehicles lighter and electromobility safer. The product line stands for the lightness of driving. High-performance plastics merge with functions to create structural components that are lighter and more compact. In the field of battery solutions, we have been designing and producing a wide variety of battery components in series. We are familiar with the requirements of both the automotive industry and battery suppliers and offer customized, sustainable solutions for all battery types.

For Dustin Fore, authenticity is the key to getting the most out of the Core Talent Program. He emphasizes the importance of being open and honest during the Core Talent Program. Only then can participants receive meaningful feedback and grow from it. At the same time, he encourages younger colleagues to take risks, accept mistakes as part of the journey, and use them as learning opportunities. The Core Talent Program creates space for honest reflection and supports those who are willing to grow.

Cooling off together🍦 At our site in Worms, Germany, employees recently enjoyed a refreshing ice cream break. Together with the Industrial Union of Mining, Chemistry and Energy (IG BCE), the colleagues were able to cool down and enjoy a relaxed moment outside of the daily routine. The ice cream day was a welcome opportunity to come together, have a talk in a casual setting and simply enjoy the summer atmosphere. Small moments like these contribute to a pleasant working environment and strengthen the sense of community at the site.

🚘 Would you get into a vehicle without a driver? Your opinion counts! In our latest survey, we asked: “What is the biggest technological challenge for autonomous driving?” Most participants identified AI and decision logic as the biggest hurdle, followed by infrastructure adaptations. Communication between vehicles and sensor technology were mentioned far less often. This highlights that intelligent decision-making is seen as a key issue for the future of autonomous driving but at the same time, there is enormous potential.

🚘 Would you get into a vehicle without a driver? Your opinion counts! In our recent survey, we wanted to know how people feel about fully autonomous vehicles. 18 % would use them immediately 35 % would use them in certain situations 39 % still don’t trust the technology at all These numbers show that trust in autonomous driving is still a challenge. But trust is only one part of the equation. Technological readiness plays a crucial role as well. That’s why we are now turning the spotlight to the technical side!

For Dr.-Ing. Felix Behnisch, personal growth begins where comfort ends. He values how the Core Talent Program intentionally places participants outside of their comfort zones. This encourages self-reflection and creates space to develop on both a personal and professional level. Interacting with colleagues from various regions and departments broadens perspectives, while feedback from external partners adds valuable outside-in insights. The Core Talent Program challenges habits, sparks reflection, and supports real development through experience.
