Weibel signs contract to deliver advanced radar systems for Danish air defense Weibel Scientific is proud to announce a new agreement with Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse (FMI/DALO) to deliver four XENTA-M5 radar systems for Denmark’s Very Short Range Air Defense (VSHORAD). The XENTA-M5 is among the most advanced radar systems globally, providing critical early warning and situational awareness against both traditional aerial threats and modern low, slow, and small targets like drones. Last night, Weibel had the honor of hosting a remarkable delegation as part of Women’s Leadership in Times of War 2.0. Leaders from Denmark, the European Union and Ukraine came together at our facilities to strengthen cooperation, innovation, and resilience across borders. The program highlighted the vital role women play in leadership during wartime and in shaping Europe’s security—a theme that resonates deeply with us at Weibel. We were proud to welcome Minister for European Affairs Marie Bjerre, Vice Presidents of ALDE Party, Yevheniia Kravchuk and Eva Kjer Hansen, alongside members of the European Parliament and Ukrainian representatives from BRAVE1 and Bavovna AI. Our CEO, Peter Røpke, reminded us in his address that Weibel is home to more than 20 different nationalities—a testament to the diversity that strengthens our innovation and culture. During the dinner, attended by many of our talented female colleagues, Yevheniia Kravchuk delivered a heartfelt message: at every table where a Ukrainian is seated, there is a beneficiary of Weibel’s technology. That moment underscored the real-world impact of our work and why responsibility and collaboration matter. For Weibel, this dialogue matters.
