🇫🇮 The Finland Pavilion at COP30 closes its doors today. Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the privilege of hosting nearly 80 events, offering forward-looking perspectives on the energy transition, sustainable stainless steel, digital transformation and equity, decarbonization of urban areas, circular economy, biodiversity, value chains, and policy briefs on the ongoing negotiations. Our pavilion has brought together various international stakeholders and enabled countless meaningful connections. At COP30, Finland’s cool is collective. More than 40 forerunner companies, universities, cities, funds, networks, industry associations, civil society actors, ministries, and NGOs joined forces under one pavilion and one shared agenda. A heartfelt thank you to our 17 partners – Nokia, Outokumpu, Stora Enso, Sitra, Vetyklusteri - H2 Cluster Finland, and many others – representing a wide spectrum from heavy industry to research and urban innovation. We also extend our thanks to Climate Leadership Coalition, the Elinkeinoelämän keskusliitto EK – Confederation of Finnish Industries, the Keskuskauppakamari (Finland Chamber of Commerce), and the Teknologiateollisuus - Technology Industries of Finland for this successful joint initiative, as well as to the Steering Group comprising the Ympäristöministeriö - Miljöministeriet - Ministry of the Environment of Finland, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö – Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (Finland), and Business Finland.
