Step into the Réserve des Grands Millésimes, Moët & Chandon’s historic Oenothèque, where time slows and history breathes. Beneath the Trianon lies this historic cellar, preserving the Maison’s most precious vintages. Originating with Claude Moët in 1743, it combines some of the oldest underground galleries in Épernay, including the “Cave du Donjon” and “Cave du Trésor,” which were once part of the city’s fortifications. This unique space is home to a selection of the Maison’s vintages, with the oldest dating to 1892. From chalk-cut caves to layered brick vaults, the Réserve des Grands Millésimes reflects centuries of champagne craftsmanship and offers a glimpse into Moët & Chandon’s storied legacy. A symbol of heritage, hospitality, and timeless elegance. The story of the Château de Saran is closely intertwined with the legacy of Moët & Chandon. Purchased in 1801 by Jean-Rémy Moët, the château began as a simple country residence before being transformed by his son, Victor Moët, into a refined manoir, the beginnings of what would soon be called a "château." Its most defining transformation came under Eugénie Van Bomberghen, who led the extensive renovations that gave the château its distinctive style and presence, the very one we know and welcome guests to today. In 1954, the Château de Saran returned to the hands of Moët & Chandon, becoming a true symbol of the Maison’s savoir-faire. Since 1960, it has served as the private residence where Moët & Chandon hosts its most esteemed guests, at the heart of Champagne. Today, the Château remains more than a symbol. It is a living part of the Maison’s story, a place where past and present meet, and where every detail reflects the timeless savoir-faire of Moët & Chandon.   This material is not intended to be viewed by persons under the legal alcohol drinking age or in countries with restrictions on advertising on alcoholic beverages. Balancing finesse, harmony, and depth, Rosé Impérial is a celebration of Moët & Chandon’s heritage and a tribute to the art of champagne. At Moët & Chandon, sustainability is more than a commitment, it’s a collective action. The 5th edition of the Natura Nostra Big Act marked another meaningful step in our mission to preserve biodiversity in Champagne, and this year held special significance as we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars’ inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Together with our winegrower partners, we are adding 25 new kilometers of ecological corridors, bringing the total to 80 kilometers dedicated to protecting and restoring biodiversity. One of the day’s key moments was the enhancement of the historic Aÿ plot, a place of significance for the Maison. This collective effort is made possible thanks to the strong support of regional partners and public authorities, including the Grand Est Region, the Marne Chamber of Agriculture, and the UNESCO Local Mission’s Environmental Group, all working alongside us to build a more sustainable future for Champagne. Joined by our President & CEO Sibylle Scherer, Cellar Master Benoît Gouez, Vineyards and Upstream Director Frédéric Gallois, the day reflected our shared commitment to passing on savoir-faire while caring for the land that inspires us. Together, we continue to cultivate a future where heritage, viticulture, and biodiversity thrive in harmony. United by our values, strengthened by diversity.
