Everyone has the right to dream.

About us

Everyone has the right to dream and talent deserves opportunity. Right to Dream is a purpose-only football community who believe there is a better way to recognise and nurture emerging talent. Whilst talented individuals can be found all around us, it can be more difficult for some to discover the opportunities they deserve. We recognise where talent exists locally and open up opportunities for young people to fulfil their potential in football, in education and in life. Academies are where it all started in 1999, with our first Right to Dream football academy in Ghana boasting an innovative model nurturing potential. By developing and increasing our trailblazing academies, professional football clubs and education network, we have proudly launched the careers of 146 professional football players, equipped hundreds of our students with a first-class education and enabled further education opportunities and scholarships. We have big ambitions for the future focused on increasing impact, opportunities and inspiring further positive change within football. Powered by $120m of investment from The Mansour Group, our valued partners and 300 purpose-driven leaders, we put our Dreamers’ development first. When it’s a team effort, everybody wins. Going Places. ✈️⚽ For over a year, EGYPTAIR has been part of our journey, supporting FC Masar and the Right to Dream Egypt community as we continue going places in every sense. It’s a partnership that’s already taken us far, and one we’re proud to keep building together. 🤝 Because for us, Going Places means more than travel. It’s both a journey and a destination. 🌍 And each part of our community lives that journey in its own way, finding its path to grow and go further. For our women’s team, it’s gaining access to experiences still rare in Egyptian football; from training camps in Denmark to matches across North Africa and beyond where they learn from new styles of play and bring that knowledge home stronger. 💪 For our academy student-athletes, it’s joining their Right to Dream community across the world or traveling to international tournaments to learn, compete, and grow through exchanges that shape character as much as skill. 🌱 That shared motion mirrors the purpose behind our partnership: ✈️ EGYPTAIR moves people across the skies. 💫 We move young people towards opportunity. And together, we’re going places.

San Diego FC are in the Major League Soccer Western Conference Finals. In their first-ever season. A historic achievement. And a huge moment for San Diego FC and the Right to Dream community. ✨ But as always in our community, it’s never only about the scoreline. On a night full of big moments on the pitch, there were also some special ones off it, including this one: Sir Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of Right to Dream and San Diego FC, joining the fans before kickoff. A small moment reflecting the genuine passion for the game that runs through every part of our global community. 🌍 The sense of belonging that connect us all. 🤝 And a reminder of how football brings people together in a way few things can. ⚽ It's something we've always believed in. And it's powerful to see it alive in San Diego.

What does it take for one of Europe’s youngest squads to reach a UEFA quarterfinal? FC Nordsjaelland Women are through to the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup quarters. Only their second season in Europe. And the first time reaching this stage. Behind this journey, there’s a bigger story of character and growth: 📊 A squad with an average age of 20.6 🎓 13 academy grads playing first-team football 🔄 Coming back against KuPS in the first qualifying round ⚡️ Losing 1–0 away, then winning 5–0 at home vs. Gintra in the second round 🌍 A 4–0 win in Round of 16, with goals from two Danes, an Egyptian, and a Ghanaian — A snapshot of our global community, capturing exactly who we are: a diverse community creating opportunities across continents. 🌱 A squad that started the season with major changes yet chose to trust youth, giving them meaningful minutes and the space to learn and grow. None of this is by chance, it’s the result of intention and a clear development model. Because for us, it’s never just about winning It’s about 𝙝𝙤𝙬 we win and 𝙬𝙝𝙤 we win with. The quarterfinals await in February. 📅 But whatever happens next, this moment already stands as evidence of what young players can achieve when trust, opportunity, and long-term development come first. ⚽ #WomensFootball #UEFA #UEFAWomensCup #FootballDevelopment

  • 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮. 🌍 That’s the vision driving Aya, a nonprofit providing access to quality education to young people across Ghana. Its founder Chris, one of the changemakers in the 2025 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, has been part of Right to Dream Ghana for the past two and a half years. But for the last 15 years, he has also been building Aya. “Aya’s name comes from the Adinkra symbol for the fern. It grows in difficult conditions. "We believe the same in people who may not get the same opportunities because of location more than anything else but can still grow and I think Right to Dream is a testament to that as well.” 🌱 Over the years, that belief has evolved into a model built on sustainability and self-reliance. “We can rely on donors, or we can create a system where it’s actually Ghana funding Ghana.” That’s how the Baobab Project began. In northern Ghana, baobab trees produce fruit during the dry season. “The baobab itself kind of speaks to Aya. It grows when everything else is dead. It’s literally the tree of life.” 🌳 By producing and selling baobab powder, AYA is creating a cycle where: 🌾 Farmers earn during the dry season 💰 Profits fund scholarships for students ♻️ Communities invest in their own growth Through the Purpose Entrepreneurship Program, AYA is strengthening how it grows, learning new ways to expand and build a model that lasts. Aya is one of five projects supported by the Purpose Entrepreneurship Program this year, each proving how a football community can power much more than play. 🌟 (Learn more about Aya and the other projects in the comments 👇)

  • A classroom on three wheels. 🚲💡 What if learning robotics, coding, and AI weren’t limited by a school’s resources, but on where a tricycle could go? That’s the idea driving 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀. A project led by Koffi, one of the changemakers in the 2025 Purpose Entrepreneurship Program (Learn more in the comments). For 11 years, Koffi has been part of Right to Dream. But growing up, he was a student in a technical school. There, he learned programming for FOUR years on paper. No screens, no keyboards… just imagination. And the first time he saw a computer… was in his headmaster’s office. 🖥 Now, he’s determined to change that story for others. Through the Purpose Entrepreneurship Program, Koffi is building a classroom on wheels, powered by a tricycle and packed with robotics kits and computers to bring hands-on STEM learning to classrooms that still don’t have one. 🤖 “Attaching some meaning to your life, that’s what purpose means to me.” What started at Right to Dream, where Koffi helped launch our first STEM projects, inspired him to take that spark beyond our walls, reaching more schools and providing access to more young people. “I saw how they transformed [young people] and it inspired me to take it further. Not only limited to Right to Dream but to other schools around.” ✨ Koffi’s STEM on Wheels is one of five projects supported by the Purpose Entrepreneurship Program this year, each proving how a football community can power much more than play.  🌟 (More about other projects in the comments).
