Rosewood Hong Kong is proud to have collaborated with Rhys Workshop Ltd., a social enterprise that empowers underprivileged women, on a meaningful initiative. We upcycled our hotel's surplus bed linen into 100 mealtime scarves for the elderly. These aren't just scarves; they are "dignity clothing," designed to bring comfort and enrich daily lives. Last week, our passionate volunteers visited an elderly centre in Sham Shui Po to deliver these scarves. The room quickly filled with heartfelt conversations and laughter as our team helped the elderly guests try on their new scarves and shared handmade healthy biscuits. It was a true joy to see their smiles and feel their genuine appreciation—a powerful reminder of the human connection at the heart of our efforts. This event was a beautiful example of circular hospitality in action: reducing our textile waste, empowering women through Rhys Workshop, and bringing warmth and dignity to our community's elders. For another consecutive year, Rosewood Hong Kong and K11 ARTUS participated in the MoonTrekker challenge. Seven teams competed across the Moonlit 30 Pair, Moonlit 30 Corporate, and Sunrise 40 Corporate categories. The teams embarked on a breathtaking overnight journey from Mui Wo to Pui O Beach, conquering rugged trails and steep climbs through unwavering spirit and teamwork. Our support team extended Rosewood hospitality on the trail, providing energy drinks and heartwarming sweet soup to help our trekkers recharge before the final ascent to Lantau Peak. All team members successfully completed the challenge — a strong reflection of their commitment, teamwork, and resilience.
