HCLFoundation participated in the workshop "Lessons and Takeaways from Wetlands Management for Biodiversity and Climate Protection" organized by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and GIZ in Delhi. Dr. Nidhi Pundhir was a distinguished panelist in the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach session on wetland conservation, alongside renowned scientists, experts from the Ministry, and other institutions.   In her address, she stressed the need for clear regulatory frameworks to ensure precise demarcation of wetland boundaries, the creation of collaborative ecosystems that unite government, corporates, and local communities, and the power of awareness and outreach through social media to inspire youth and citizens to actively participate in wetland protection. Every champion begins with a first step and the courage to keep going. For para-athlete Kasthuri Rajamani, the path to powerlifting began with uncertainty. She didn’t know how to train, where to begin, or what it truly meant to pursue sport. But with her family’s support and her own relentless drive, she learned, adapted, and grew - one day, one step at a time. Today, Kasthuri stands stronger than ever, competing in powerlifting with a clear dream in sight: to become a medal-winning Paralympian. Every run shapes the match, while every opportunity shapes the player.   Sports for Change Cricket Tournament Season 2 brought this belief to life at Gautam Buddha University, where young women cricketers from Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh competed in a five day, 40-over ODI series. Each match reflected the strength of preparation and the power of opportunity. Uttar Pradesh claimed the series win with a commendable performance. Yet, the real win was the match experience every player gained - a valuable step in their cricket journey.   We express our gratitude to the Gautam Buddha University team for opening their world-class facilities to support this initiative and ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for all.
