We are honoured to share that JSW Foundation has been recognised by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) for our work in Community-Led Water Security and Rainwater Harvesting in Sandur, Ballari. The award was presented by the Honourable Home Minister of Karnataka, Shri Parameshwar, at the FKCCI India CSR & Sustainability Conference 2025 in Bangalore. Mr Peddanna Beedala, Zonal Head – South India, and Mrs Rupa Dawane, Head of Water and Environment, received the award on our behalf. At JSW Foundation, we believe every tree planted is a step towards healthier communities and a more sustainable future. Our recent plantation drive at Tarapur brought together employees, students, officials, and local communities to plant 2,000 saplings across 14 diverse varieties; from Neem and Mango to Bamboo and Coconut. What makes this initiative special is not just the number of trees, but the collective pledge to nurture them, ensuring they grow into a lasting green cover that benefits over 3,000 families. Every sapling we plant today becomes the shade, fruit, and clean air of tomorrow. #BetterEveryday

In Karnataka’s Vijayanagar District, small farmers were struggling. High input costs and limited access to good seeds were holding them back. That’s when Krishikalpa GFPCL, with support from our CSR-Agriculture Initiative, stepped in. Ragi seeds, which are strong, drought-resistant grains, were offered at ₹60 less than the market price. Farmers saved more and planted with confidence. With training in Good Agricultural Practices, they improved their methods, sold off unsold grain, and even helped the Farmer Producer Organization earn more. It all started with a seed but, what grew was trust, better harvests, and a future that’s truly #BetterEveryday. #JSWFoundation

From Odisha to Maharashtra to Karnataka, these initiatives have strengthened ecosystems, secured clean water for families, and created new opportunities for communities. Each restored lake is a testament to the power of collective effort and a step towards a water-secure future.

The spirit of women’s football shone bright at the WIFA Inter-District Seniors Women’s Championship, supported by JSW Foundation. The event concluded with great success, bringing together 500 talented players from 25 district teams across Maharashtra. Pune emerged as champions, followed by Mumbai as runner-up and Ahmednagar securing third place. This championship was not just about competition but about celebrating the strength and passion of women’s football in the state, and we are proud to have been part of this inspiring journey. #JSWFoundation #BetterEveryday
