Today, we reached a major milestone in Airbus’ Make in India journey – Airbus Helicopters has awarded the #H125 main fuselage manufacturing contract to Mahindra Aerospace, marking a significant step in the indigenisation of the world’s best-selling single-engine helicopter 🚁. This major contract complements the under-construction H125 Final Assembly Line (FAL) that Airbus Helicopters is setting-up in India together with Tata Advanced Systems Limited. The FAL and a robust Indian H125 manufacturing eco-system is set to drive the growth of vital civil market segments such as #heliambulance, #disastermanagement, and #aerialwork. These para-public missions are essential to building a modern, confident India. The Made in #India H125 will also serve the evolving needs of the Indian armed forces, adding further depth to India’s aerospace capabilities.
