Last Friday in Luxembourg: the team, the concrete, and some very good pasta. Morning: a site visit to Cloche d'Or, a future-proof campus designed by us and Moreno Architecture for Atenor. 34,500 m² of office space, 3,500 m² of green areas, 5,700 m² of terraces, now in full structural swing. With site supervision by Moreno Architecture, and a clear ambition: a work campus aligned with the European Taxonomy towards 2050, and not just “up to date”. Afternoon: a visit to Skypark Business Center by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group and metaform architects. Generously guided by Giovanni Bordi, with lessons in scale, contrast, and shared ambition. In between: lunch at Sazio. Projet Colonnade La façade imposait des exigences très élevées en matière de géométrie, de tolérances et de gestion des interfaces. L’ensemble des éléments est conçu et aligné en trois dimensions et ne peut fonctionner que grâce à une planification précise et une exécution parfaitement maîtrisée. Les fenêtres Schüco, les panneaux vitrés ainsi que la façade verticale en aluminium Alinel ont été étudiés, conçus, fabriqués et montés par Origer S.A. Un projet où la préparation, la conception et le montage ont dû s’imbriquer avec une grande précision – et c’est précisément cela qui a fait la différence. LG LUX Construction S.A. Moreno Architecture Schüco International KG ALINEL AGC INTERPANE #jokloer —————————- Projekt Colonnade Die Fassade stellte höchste Anforderungen an Geometrie, Toleranzen und Schnittstellen. Alle Elemente sind dreidimensional zueinander ausgerichtet und funktionieren nur durch präzise Planung und kontrollierte Ausführung. Schüco Fenster, Glaspaneele und eine vertikale Aluminium-Alinel-Fassade wurden von Origer S.A. geplant, konstruiert, gefertigt und montiert. Ein Projekt, bei dem Vorbereitung, Konstruktion und Montage exakt ineinandergreifen mussten – und genau das den Unterschied gemacht hat.

Some revolutions begin in the quiet geometry of a courtyard. With this project, we continue the story started by Gordon Bunshaft, but we update his vision with regenerative logic: A courtyard that shapes more than circulation. It modulates temperature, channels wind, filters water, and invites biodiversity in. 6,000 m² of super-duplex. Art, food, encounters. But also: shade, wind paths, evapotranspiration, and a little urban rewilding. [The Marnix – Part 2] 📸 A look back at the inauguration of The Marnix building, ING Belgium 's headquarters in Brussels. It was a highlight for our teams, during which Stefano Moreno praised ING's courage in choosing to renovate a historic 54,000 m² building in the center of Brussels, with all its energy constraints and challenges, rather than constructing a new building in the suburbs. We are proud and honored to have contributed to this ambitious project, in collaboration with A2M Architecture, to give new life to this iconic location while respecting sustainability issues. ING Marnix, rebooted. From the heart of Brussels, through the lens of Ulrich Schwarz. After 5 years and 6 months, 2,9 million minutes, 1.223 litres of coffee (give or take a few espressos), and a choreography of partners across disciplines, timelines, and different construction eras. A2M brought Gordon Bunshaft’s Marnix back to life, a radical technical renewal paired with subtle spatial gestures, restoring its spirit of openness and weaving art back into its core.Not a new building. One that opens back to the city, embraces its people, gleams with new clarity, and stands as one like never before.
