🎉 What an incredible day! On 4 November, we gathered in Rotterdam to celebrate 50 years of Oikocredit; half a century of investing differently, with people and purpose at the heart of finance. The Oikocredit Impact Event brought together partners, investors, and changemakers from around the world to reflect on our shared journey and explore how impact investing can shape a fairer, more sustainable future. In 2014, Cafédirect stepped in to help a small Peruvian coffee co-operative close to Machu Pichu. It was struggling, its finances precarious and not a single bank would help. Oikocredit joined Cafédirect and logistics partner Falcon to offer financing of USD 350,000.
