One more month to go until the iconic Monaco Yacht Show! A perfect moment to reflect on previous years in which we attended the show with our own stand. For many years, Vitters Shipyard has been present at this unique event. We look back through the years: 2006, 2011, 2023, 2024, reflecting from one year to the next. Over the course of each edition, we’ve had the privilege of meeting our clients, various companies, partners, and many more, inspiring each other along the way. As one of the most important gatherings in the yachting calendar, the Monaco Yacht Show brings together nearly 560 companies and stands as a key strategic event for private clients and the wider yachting community. Once again this year, the show reinforces its commitment to combining innovation, prestige, and luxury developments from across the yachting world. An incredible regatta this weekend: Maximus faced Rebecca for the first time, and now we’re already looking forward to the next race with Inouï competing in the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. During the Safe Harbor Weekend in Newport, Rhode Island, Maximus, our 59-meter ketch designed by Frers Naval Architecture & Engineering, demonstrated both power and elegance as she raced against Rebecca, a remarkable sailing yacht from the same designer with whom she shares many defining characteristics. It was a fantastic regatta and a pleasure to see these extraordinary classic yachts racing against each other. With this regatta behind us, we’re already looking ahead to the next: the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo, from September 7th to 9th. Our Vitters yacht Inouï will be competing in this spectacular event. A unique spectacle at sea: Maxi-yacht ketches Maximus and Rebecca compete for the first time at Safe Harbor Race Weekend! Maximus, our 59.29-meter masterpiece launched in 2024, will compete against the legendary Rebecca, a 42.42-meter ketch from 1999, during the prestigious Safe Harbor Race Weekend, held from August 8–10 in Newport, Rhode Island, USA. Three years of Alea, A true Vitters masterpiece! 🌊✨ We celebrate three remarkable years of Alea, a 56-meter aluminium sloop designed by Mani Frers and built by Vitters Shipyard. Her elegant interior was crafted by the design studio M2Atelier based in Milan, seamlessly combining refined aesthetics with comfort and functionality. Construction of Alea began in spring 2020. Despite the challenges, Vitters delivered the yacht in July 2022. Alea is a yacht that perfectly reflects the DNA of our shipyard, a project we are extremely proud of. Alea features a spacious owner’s suite with an ensuite bathroom located forward. The guest cabins are located to starboard aft, while the crew occupies the port side aft. A standout feature is the generous lazarette, which houses a 7-meter tender and can easily be converted into a proper beach club offering a direct connection to the sea.
