About Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) is the financial and business centre established by the Government of Qatar in 2005 to attract international banking, insurance business and other financial services in order to grow and develop the financial services sector in Qatar and the region. The QFC offers domestic and international firms the opportunity to establish a broad range of banking, asset management and insurance businesses under a legal and regulatory regime that meets international best practice. The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority is the independent regulator of the QFC, established to authorise and regulate firms and individuals conducting financial services in or from the QFC. It has built a principles-based regulatory regime aligned with widely used common law, embracing transparency, predictability and accountability. In December 2012, the Law of the Qatar Central Bank and the Regulation of Financial Institutions (Law No. 13 of 2012) was enacted. The new QCB Law is an important step towards promoting financial stability across the State of Qatar and formalises the high levels of co-operation between the Qatar Central Bank, the Regulatory Authority and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority through the establishment of the Financial Stability and Risk Control Committee.

نظّمت هيئة تنظيم مركز قطر للمال (هيئة التنظيم)، بالشراكة مع هيئة مركز قطر للمال (الهيئة)، في الفترة الممتدة بين 12 و13 نوفمبر، ورشة عمل مخصّصة لشركات إدارة الصناديق وخدمات الصناديق بالمركز، هدفت من خلالها إلى توضيح إطار عمل عملية تسجيل الصناديق في المركز. وغطّت ورشة العمل المشهد التنظيمي عامة، وأحكام قواعد برامج الاستثمار الجماعي مقابل قواعد صندوق المستثمر المحترف، إضافة إلى عملية التسجيل، ومتطلبات الحوكمة، والتزامات ما بعد التسجيل. كما تناول خبراء هيئة التنظيم والهيئة أسئلة الحضور المطروحة ضمن جلسات تفاعلية. واختتمت ورشة العمل بدراسة حالة عملية عرضتها هيئة التنظيم. #هيئة_تنظيم_مركز_قطر_للمال #هيئة_مركز_قطر_للمال #مركز_قطر_للمال #تسجيل_الصانديق #إدارة_الصانديق #صناديق_دولة_قطر ____ The QFCRA, in partnership with the QFCA, held a two-day workshop on 12-13 November 2025 to support QFC fund managers and service providers in understanding the QFC fund registration framework. We hosted a joint workshop with the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) covering key considerations in the fund incorporation and registration process at the QFC. 🤝 The session explored the respective regulatory roles, distinctions between the COLL and PROF regimes, application requirements and supporting governance documentation, as well as post-registration obligations.
