Energy regulator, Ofgem, has announced that the energy price cap will be increasing resulting in rising energy bills for households 📈 But, what does this mean for you? A typical household will see an increase of £9.52* per month taking the annual energy bill to £1,849 per year. Ofgem states that wholesale prices are responsible for 78% of this increase as well as inflation. If you are concerned about paying your energy bill, the advice is to speak to your energy provider, however if you are on a fixed tariff, you won't be affected by the change in price. If you are looking for ways to save money, and minimise your energy usage, we often share energy saving tips across our social media accounts.
