The college making a positive impact on the planet. For #ZeroWasteWeek, we’re spotlighting Askham Bryan College, an agricultural institution in York and one of our #Education sector sites implementing sustainable practices to reduce waste. One of the unique features on site is the allotment which provides students and staff with nutritious meals made with fresh ingredients, whilst also helping us minimise our impact on the environment. From allotment to plate, produce grown at the college is used in its entirety to reduce food waste, and anything that cannot be used in the kitchen is collected and turned into biofuel. Our Wipe out Waste recipes have also been a success at the college. They encourage chefs to turn leftover ingredients that would typically be discarded into creative dishes such as: ☕ Coffee ground brownies 🍌 Banana peel bacon 🧁 Butternut squash peel muffins These are just some of the sustainable-led initiatives at the college, check out more of the incredible work they are doing below. 📽️: Lemon Wedge Productions Stuart Dunlop Katie Burnett Gina Camfield Lauren Johnson #ESG

Making a difference through the power of connection. Yesterday, Lauren Johnson and Gina Camfield launched our Back to School Project, joining the team at Umbrella Derby and Derbyshire to provide 214 backpacks full of pencil cases, stationery and sensory items to children who access their services. Lauren our Social Value Executive drove this project by collaborating with Kirsten and Hannah from Aramark who informed her about the success of the Back to School Project in the US which has given children access to essential school supplies. Lauren was determined to bring the initiative to the UK and secured $2000 in funding to facilitate the project whilst also finding a local charity to partner with whose mission aligns with our values. We’re incredibly proud of Lauren’s work and look forward to continuing this project to support children across the UK. #SocialValue #ReachforRemarkable

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is famous for its spectacle. But what happens behind the scenes is just as extraordinary. This year, as we marked 25 years supporting the Tattoo, our #GovernmentServices team worked tirelessly to deliver the catering and hospitality that fuelled the event. From serving 10,500+ meals to supporting international military performers, and even hosting a luncheon for HRH The Princess Royal - it was teamwork at its finest. Glyn Ingram, Managing Director of Government Services said "Supporting the Tattoo is always a highlight of our year, and this summer was no exception. It’s a privilege to play a part in such a globally celebrated event, and doing so for the 25th year running fills us with immense pride. The scale and pace of operations are intense, but our teams rise to the occasion with energy, precision, and heart. Their dedication is what makes this partnership such a success, year after year.” Here’s a look at the people, passion, and precision that made it all happen 👇 Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) Aramark Mark Jacobs Peter Smurthwaite David Fradgley Ellen Cadden George McGregor British Army #RoyalEdinburghMilitaryTattoo #FoodserviceExcellence #ManagedServices #BehindTheScenes

What a kick off to the season at Everton Football Club Hill Dickinson Stadium stadium! Not only did we celebrate a win on the pitch, but our teams also delivered an outstanding food, drink and hospitality experience. Fans were buzzing about the frictionless technology, with our Through Pass shops and eBars making service seamless and efficient – giving supporters more time to soak up the matchday atmosphere. Our food brands were a real hit too. With variety, quality and value to rival the high street. And with our premium offering providing an ambitious tiering system, meaning that there was truly something for everyone to enjoy. A huge well done to everyone who’s played a part in bringing this fantastic space to life. Here’s to plenty more to come this season! As the sound of bagpipes and drums on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle sweeps through the city, our #GovernmentServices teams are providing exceptional catering and hospitality services at the 75th Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. We’re proud to have supported the Tattoo for 25 years and this year, it was an honour to host a luncheon for the Lord Provost of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal as well as serving the Royal Military Police, Guard of Honour, Drill Team and Mass Pipes and Drums every evening at Edinburgh Castle. At our Government Services sites, Redford, Dreghorn and Glencorse Barracks, our teams held special events for the Scots Band and Scots P&D and catered for performers from around the world including the Top Secret Drum Corps, the Orchestra of Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the USAF Honor Guard Drill Team. Throughout the duration of this year’s Tattoo, our teams will provide: • 10,528 meals • 1,000 goodie bags for performers • 12 Royal Gallery buffets • 11 Salute takers dinners During the rehearsals at Redford Barracks, it was a pleasure to serve military personnel and performers with refreshments throughout the day. With thanks to our suppliers The Protein Ball Co., Monster Energy, popchips and the team at Thomas Tunnock Ltd who provided the quintessentially Scottish treats! Thank you to our incredible teams for the work you do, delivering outstanding service every day. Look out for our video content from the event coming soon! A real treat for the Toffees! It was a monumental day for Everton Football Club last weekend as our team welcomed a stadium full of fans for a pre-season friendly.
