We are pleased to welcome James Roberts to the Envireau Water team, who joined our North Yorkshire office last week on a 3-month placement! Having recently graduated from University of Oxford with a BA in Geography, James has a strong interest in sustainability and environmental consultancy, having undertaken several climate-focused modules throughout his university experience. Having started last week, I have already been involved with so many diverse tasks, from getting out in the field to working with data, and not to mention winning the egg and spoon race at last week's company sports day! Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming and I look forward to continuing to develop my skills over the next few months.' Please join us in welcoming James to the team. We look forward to catching up with him at the end of his placement to see how he got on. #TeamGrowth #Graduate #Consultancy #RSKFamily #RSKGroup

Last week, our team gathered in lovely North Yorkshire for a valuable day of training, development, and, of course, a bit of team building!✨ We started at our North Yorkshire office, just outside Richmond, with a morning session on health & safety, an exciting preview of our upcoming branding initiative, and a detailed look at the core strategies and values of Envireau Water. We also introduced new development portfolios to reflect our team's ambitions and support their professional growth. In the afternoon, we organised our own sports day at Reeth and District Community Centre, complete with competitive spirit and a charitable donation of choice for the winning team. We laughed, got to know new team members, and took it all a bit too seriously. With five offices located across the UK it's never easy to make time to come together, but it's so very worth it when we do. Thanks team!💙 #TeamDay #TeamTraining #EnvireauWater #RSKFamily #Richmond

Yesterday, members of our team stepped away from their desks and into the sunshine to give back to nature at Kings Park; a much loved recreational area close to our Stirling office.☀️🍃 Our team rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in with a variety of maintenance tasks across the gardens. This included helping to prepare the area around the Rotary monument for seed planting in September; working alongside the dedicated volunteers from the 'Friends of King's Park' charity, who meet weekly to help maintain and enhance the garden. Our team had a fantastic time supporting this great initiative and will be sure to return to see the results of our efforts! At Envireau Water, we are deeply committed to the preservation of the environment and are proud to actively take part in volunteering opportunities throughout the year. We look forward to seeing what our team get up to next. Last week, Hydrologist Mairi Teasdale attended the Peter Wolf Symposium 2025: Hydrology in the Community, held at the University of Liverpool. Hosted by the British Hydrological Society, the event was a huge success, with an excellent panel of early career delegates, thought provoking presentations, and of course valuable networking opportunities with those across the hydrology community.💧 Mairi commented, 'I had a great time at this year's event, which really underpinned the important role hydrology plays within our community. I even had the pleasure of presenting one of my own real life case studies highlighting this in practice at an active quarry. As I approach three years with Envireau Water, it was a perfect opportunity to contribute to important industry discussions and share my practical and technical experience with many professionals beginning their career. It was inspiring to also hear the practices of other delegates, and I look forward to applying these insights to future projects.' We're all incredibly proud of Mairi and what she has achieved, and look forward to seeing what other fascinating industry events our team will take part in in the future!🥂 #BritishHydrologicalSociety #EarlyCareer #Hydrologist #Hydrology #IndustryEvent #UniversityofLiverpool

Earlier this month, Senior Geologist Alastair Rose and Hydrogeologist Tom Onslow were on site at our client's quarry in Cumbria, carrying out their latest round of borehole water level monitoring. Whatever the project, our team of hydrogeologists and hydrologists can provide solutions to cover groundwater monitoring, surface water monitoring and water quality sampling. We believe the key to effective reporting is delivering periodic reports tailored to the site's needs, whilst also meeting relevant regulatory requirements.
