We recently had the pleasure of running a custom printing workshop with the team at FurnitureboxUK; a commercial team-building session with purpose at its core 🤝 Guided by the question “What is your why?”, each team member designed and printed their own T-shirt, using creativity to reflect personal values and what drives them every day. From concept to print, the session offered a hands-on insight into the printing process but more than that, it gave space to pause, reflect, and reconnect as a team. It was inspiring also to work with co-founders Dan Beckles and Monty George who have built their journey on grit and a forward-thinking approach to business. Their story is a testament to the power of starting small, thinking big, and staying true to your ‘why’. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Kingsbury Green Academy for an Ablaze Day at our Chippenham office — a truly inspiring experience filled with mentoring, collaboration, and a lively furniture-building challenge! 🛠️🏆 Ablaze is an incredible independent charity working to reduce inequality of opportunity for young people across the West of England. They empower students on their journey toward meaningful employment by connecting them with volunteers who share their skills, insights, and real-world experience 🚀 Our amazing volunteers - Kayla Wilson, Jenny Bracey, Mel Wilson, Peter Fletcher, Lisa Potter, Tom Wakefield, Ben G. and Aemilia Smith - led a series of interactive mentoring workshops. These sessions gave students the chance to explore how their ideas could translate into careers in marketing, finance, customer service, and IT 👩🏻💻 To top it all off, our founders, Dan Beckles and Monty George, shared their inspiring story, from meeting on a football pitch to building a successful business together ⚽️ A huge thank you to everyone who made the day such a success.
