    KQ Labs Programme Coordinator

One of my favourite parts of being a Programme Coordinator at KQ Labs is getting a front-row seat to the passion, creativity and innovation of founders using data to change the future of health. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to connect with some incredible teams already applying, working on everything from AI in drug discovery and precision medicine to digital health tools and much more. It’s a glimpse of the amazing innovation still to come from this community If you’re thinking about applying but hesitating - don’t let the pursuit of perfect hold you back. A strong application doesn’t need to have every single detail figured out; what matters most is your vision and potential. Past cohorts have gone on to raise funding, grow their teams and make a real impact, you could be next. 👉 So apply here: www.kqlabs.com I’ll be around all day to answer any last-minute questions, so please do reach out if something’s stopping you from hitting submit. Applications close at 5pm today so take the leap, we’d love to hear from you. I’m so very excited to see the applications that come in and to discover which teams we’ll be welcoming into Cohort 8 next year ✨

📺 The application of data science and #AI to biomedical problems – from understanding #disease, to finding new drugs, to designing better clinical trials – is one of the great stories of our time. But startups at the nexus of these two areas often struggle raising funds. ‘Tech’ investors and ‘life science’ investors come from very different worlds, and there’s been a danger that “never the twain shall meet”. In this second episode in #OptimumTV’s Thought Leaders series, Barbara Domayne-Hayman of The Francis Crick Institute and KQ Labs explains how these bodies are helping accelerate UK startups in this dynamic area – mentoring them, giving them the chance to meet investors, and a £40,000 convertible loan note. The annual application window for the programme closes on August 28th – see the comments for more information. Watch this highly informative new episode below ⬇️ #HealthcareCommunications
