We are delighted to share that we will be presenting new findings on high CRP levels and their link to higher rates of death in patients with ASCVD and CKD at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025 today. The new study, in collaboration with Imperial College London and Novo Nordisk highlights that higher levels of systemic inflammation are strongly associated with increased mortality among patients with ASCVD and CKD. 📖 Key findings of the study are: 🔹Patients with the highest CRP levels had the greatest risk of death, particularly those with both ASCVD and CKD. 🔹Healthcare resource use and costs were also highest in individuals living with both conditions. 🔹Across all clinical groups, patients with elevated CRP demonstrated the greatest unmet need. We’re pleased to launch a new study identifying key metrics to better quantify the value of primary obesity prevention. It has been published in the Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism Journal and highlights key measures to help policymakers and payers justify funding and enable healthcare providers to assess the impact of prevention interventions. These include waist-to-height ratio, blood cholesterol, and blood pressure, among others. The study was conducted in collaboration with Novo Nordisk (Transformational Prevention Unit - Jutta Skau), Nesta (Healthy Life Mission - Hugo Harper), the University of Birmingham, the University of Washington, and UCL.
