We frequently fulfil the role of competent project supervisor for the design process as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations 2013 on our client's renewable energy projects in Ireland. It is important to us that our staff are properly trained on an ongoing basis to keep up with the latest industry best practice. IOSH accredited PSDP training was provided by the ASM group offsite at the Clayton Hotel. Our Irish project managers were joined by colleagues from the wider business alongside electrical engineers and safety specialists from both our construction and HSEQ departments. We were delighted to support TagEnergy on their first UK onshore wind acquisition. Our experts provided technical due diligence to the global clean energy enterprise to support its first UK onshore wind investment. TagEnergy acquired 100% ownership of four mid-stage development projects in Scotland, totalling almost 300MW. We are supporting COMPASS (Comprehensive Offshore Management Platform for Assessing Sustainability), an international project to develop a tool for holistic evaluation of environmental and socio-economic impacts of offshore windfarms. The tool will allow users to carry out an entire lifecycle assessment and understand how they can improve the sustainability, acceptability and performance of their assets in a cost-effective way. The project will also generate recommendations for optimisation including recycling and nature-inclusive design. COMPASS is funded by EU Horizon Fund and includes 14 partners across 8 countries, representing a range of stakeholders including academia, developers and consultants.
