Last week, we welcomed our media partners to PHD Winter Wonderland to say thank you for a year of collaboration & innovation. This was the third annual PHD Winter Wonderland but my first and it was a joyous, relaxed day of catching up with colleagues and partners across the industry. I tip my party hat to Chris Walsh for all his work on putting it together and to the ever marvellous abbi&me for making the day so enjoyable and smooth. PHD UK has had an amazing year – especially for awards recognition - but without strong, trusting relationships with our media partners, big, ambitious ideas simply don’t happen. We are so grateful to have partners who share our ambition to deliver ingenious work so it was a pleasure to spend time with everyone and show our gratitude for everything they’ve done to help make 2025 a great year for PHD. PHD has been named Media Network of the Year at the 2025 Festival of Media Cause Campaign Awards, following a standout performance led by PHD USA, which earned Agency of the Year and the Campaign of the Year Grand Prix. Across the show, PHD won four categories and was Highly Commended in three others. The most-awarded campaign was Sandy Hook Promise’s 'Just Joking' (PHD USA), which used real school-shooter threats delivered by comedians to demonstrate how warnings are too often dismissed.
